Iconic Galápagos Landmarks
CTG adventures feature an enchanted, personalized experience for each visitor. At the same time, the following marvels are a must-see for any trip to be truly complete.

Giant Tortoises
As the largest tortoise species and longest living vertebrates on earth, Galápagos Giant Tortoises are spectacular creatures. They are also the island’s namesake, as Galápago means saddle in old Spanish and refers to the tortoise shell.

Los Tuneles on Isabela Island
Forged thousands of years ago, Los Tuneles on Isabela Island are home to countless wildlife species, offering breathtaking snorkeling views amidst crystal clear water. These underwater lava tunnels are shallow, providing a close look at one of the world’s most amazing geological creations.

León Dormido (Kicker Rock) in San Cristóbal
Accessible by boat, León Dormido (also known as Kicker Rock) in San Cristobal is a massive geological formation in the middle of nowhere that derives its namesake from its appearance: a sleeping lion. The imposing cliffs, towering rock face, and impressive nearby snorkeling are truly spectacular.

North Seymour Island
Covered in unique vegetation, resting sea lions, rare bird species, and land iguanas, North Seymour Island is a thriving ecosystem of Galapagos wildlife, offering a picture-perfect day trip to animal lovers and naturalists alike.

Twin Craters (Los Gemelos)
For hiking enthusiasts with an affinity for genuine, thriving wildlife, the journey to the Twin Craters is truly breathtaking. Originally formed by collapsing magma chambers, the craters are now covered by lush forest and greenery.

The Wall of Tears (El Muro de las Lágrimas)
A cultural icon, The Wall of Tears was constructed by hand from exiled prisoners hauling sharp, heavy lava rocks. Many locals believe that an ominous energy can still be felt in the presence of the wall today.
